Austin City Limits Festival 101

3 Days,
8 Stages,
130 Bands.

If my math is correct, that adds up to be the 2006 Austin City Limits Music Festival, September 15th through 17th at Zilker Park. The lineup for the 2006 ACL Fest looks like it will the one of the best collections of artists the five-year-old event has seen. Headliners include Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Raconteurs, and Gnarls Barkley.

Starting today and ending on 09/12 I will be submitting a daily post focusing on the artists who will be performing at the 2006 ACL Fest. My goal is to supply the very best possible song that I can provide from each artist, along with their set time and a brief bio. I will list each artist by their order of appearance at the festival, in order to help in choosing an itinerary for each day. Any acts that have competing time-slots will be grouped together.
