Dr. Dog, We All Belong

Check out that album artwork for the new Dr. Dog release, We All Belong. Pretty fetching, ain't it? The album is being released on February 27th via Park The Van Records, and if you'd rather not wait until then you can pick it up at the iTunes music store on February 13th. I asked Dr. Dog about the artwork for the new album, and this is what they said:

"We are all really happy with the album artwork. The art was created by Felipe Jesus Consalvos, who lived from 1891 to an unknown date. From what we understand he worked in cigar factories in Cuba, and then moved to Florida and worked in cigar factories there. After that he moved to Philadelphia, and worked in Philly and New York. For the most accurate info , you should check out Philly's Fleisher-Ollman gallery, the place where we first saw Consalvos' art."

There's a snazzy website set up to promote the album at WeAllBelong.net, where you can listen to songs and do some other fun stuff that I haven't fully figured out yet.

Below is the tracklist for We All Belong along with a couple of songs to hear, and the music video for "My Old Ways" for your viewing pleasure.
  1. Old News
  2. My Old Ways
  3. Keep a Friend
  4. The Girl
  5. Alaska
  6. Weekend
  7. Ain't It Strange
  8. Worst Trip
  9. Way the Lazy Do
  10. Die, Die, Die
  11. We All Belong

Dr. Dog: Best. Band. Ever. Thanks for the post.

Hey, I'm visiting Austin this week for the first time. Do you know a good online source for gig/live listings?

Many thanks! Matt
