Super Surprise

Beastie Boys contributed a "Super Surprise" 12-inch record for Record Store Day that was limited to 1,000 copies, making it likely one of the most limited physical releases the Beastie Boys have ever put out. According to their record label, the idea to participate in Record Store Day was solely the Beastie Boys' idea. The A side has "Lee Majors Come Again" mixed with Daft Punk's "Da Funk", and the B side has "Here's A Little Somethin' For Ya" mixed with the "Number Song" by DJ Shadow. For collectors, there are a few copies of the record available on ebay.
The Beastie Boys have also announced plans to release their new album, which is expected to arrive sometime in September. Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 1 was originally scheduled to drop in 2009, but was put on hold when MCA announced in a video to fans that he had cancer in his salivary glands. So far confirmed guests include Nas and Santigold.

These are great remixes! Thanks for sharing them with those of us who weren't lucky enough to score a copy on Record Store Day.
