Everyone loves a benefit concert; you get happy helping people feelings and happy music feelings all in one place! A phenomenal musician in his prime, in 2006 20-year-old Spencer Bell died of adrenal cancer. This Saturday, March 26th from 2pm to Midnight at the Mohawk, musicians from across the country will honor the legacy of the young man.
Admission is a sliding scale from $12 to $40 with proceeds benefiting The Spencer Bell Memorial Fund which “aims to raise awareness for adrenal cancer research, support research and provide a training ground for young students interested in a career in medicine or science through sponsorship of summer research fellowships in laboratories associated with the Adrenal Cancer Program.”
For more information visit the facebook event page. It will be a great time for a great cause, and I hope to see you there!
