Ty Segall's new album, Sleeper, was recorded and mixed in his San Francisco apartment. Mostly acoustic, the album was inspired by the recent loss of his father, his move from San Francisco to L.A. to be closer to his sister, and the strained relationship he has with his mother. Ty Segall will be performing Sleeper in its entirety tomorrow night at the Mohawk. Our friends Holy Wave will open, along with Hidden Ritual. Get your tickets here. I've also got a pair of tickets to give away to the first lucky person who sends me an email. Go.
